How It Works

What Is HIIT To The Beat?

HTTB involves bursts of short, sharp intervals of high intensity ‘gasping for air’ work, followed by lower-impact sets that allow your body to recover... before you do it all again! But what makes our workouts different to your standard HIIT sessions? It’s paired to your favourite music! As you workout to the beat, your body not only moves better, but you work harder without even realising it. You have more fun, and end up getting better results, in less time. That’s what we like to call the RBB effect.

The RBB Effect

RBB is about burning the maximum amount of calories as possible during a workout, and generating a metabolic “ripple” effect that burns fat even after your workout. Along the way, you’ll gain strength, reduce your risk of chronic health disease, and improve your cardiovascular performance – all while having fun working out to your favourite music, and making friends. What’s not to love?

Much more than just an exercise, HIIT has some amazing health benefits.

  • Improve cardiovascular fitness with workouts that will strengthen your heart, reduce your resting heart rate and make you feel fitter.

  • Burn body fat up to 9 times faster by increasing your metabolism, even when you’re resting. After a session, your metabolic rate will speed up, and be boosted for up to 48 hours after your class.

  • Improve lung capacity, to make exercising easier over time.

  • Save time. Studies show that 2.5 hrs of HIIT training produced similar muscle changes to 10.5 hours of endurance training and similar endurance benefits. Um, YES PLEASE!

  • Maintain muscle mass by using fuel stored as fat in your body, rather than muscle, thus designing a lean, fit physique.
